BURLINGTON, MA - Aug. 1, 2011 - inVentiv Health, offering best-in-class clinical, commercial and consulting services to the healthcare industry, announced that leaders from three inVentiv Health companies were named to PharmaVOICE's 2011 list of the "100 Most Inspiring People" in healthcare. inVentiv honorees were Joe Daley of GSW Worldwide, Gregg Dearhammer of i3 and Uwe Tigör of Palio.
Joe Daley is President of North American Operations for GSW Worldwide, one of the world's largest global healthcare advertising agencies. Based in Columbus, Ohio, Daley has been instrumental in strengthening the agency's core capabilities and growing GSW's business in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Daley was nominated in part for being an advocate for fostering an entrepreneurial spirit and for energizing and inspiring his team to believe that if they search for a new idea or way of doing something, it can be implemented and it can make a difference.
Gregg Dearhammer is President of FSP/Staffing services for i3, part of the inVentiv Health Clinical segment, and is based in Ann Arbor, Mich. An accomplished leader, Gregg has more than 10 years experience in senior management positions at clinical research organizations in the field of data services. He is an active member of the Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM) and has chaired, developed and spoken at various conference sessions. Dearhammer currently serves on the SCDM Board of Trustees.
Uwe Tigör, M.D., is the Chief Medical Officer of Palio, an advertising agency revolutionizing pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing. Based in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Tigör oversees the agency's medical strategy and editorial departments and is the force behind the agency's REMS programs and regulatory compliance. Tigör has extensive experience across a range of therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, sepsis, psoriasis, Alzheimer's disease, glaucoma, psychiatry/neurology, pulmonary disease, oncology, stroke, osteoporosis and gastroenterology.
